Hi Everybody,

It's another hot and hazy summer here on Canada's West Coast - even the ocean water is warm enough for a swim, which is unusual for Vancouver! Hope your July and August are warm and relaxing wherever you are.

New Pages This Month in Excellent Romantic Vacations:

Niagara Falls

If you didn’t see the Falls on your honeymoon, now’s the time. The US falls are good, but the Canadian side is great! And don’t miss Niagara–on-the-Lake.

Seattle

Being so close, we tend to take Seattle for granted. But it’s a great destination even for a weekend getaway. If you’ve got a week or more, a triangle trip between Seattle - Victoria BC - Vancouver BC is a great land/sea/mountain excursion!

Coming Next Month

Never been to Palm Springs? Watch for our upcoming pages on Palm Springs and Palm Springs vacation rentals. Golf, swimming, hiking, shopping, and soaking up the sun by the pool -that's Palm Springs!

Las Vegas Gets a Monorail

The new Las Vegas Monorail has just opened, and it looks like a great idea!

The new train started service on July 15, and it operates 8AM to Midnight 7 days a week. It's an easy way to get up and down Las Vegas Blvd ( “the Strip”) – there are 7 stations, starting with the MGM Grand on the South end, and ending up at the Sahara Station on the north end. The Monorail is air conditioned (of course!), travels up to 50 mph, and costs $3 for a single ride, or $25 for a 3-day pass.

See you next month!
