If the UK is on your itinerary this summer, we've got a suggestion for a great little romantic trip from London...
Romantic Breaks in London, UKSpring and summer bring many romantic travellers to Europe, and London UK is a popular stopover point for tours and trips to the Continent. If you've got a few days in London (and perhaps have already seen the sights of the capital), one popular romantic break in London we recommend is a journey through the Cotswolds, just 100 miles west of London.
You could enjoy this part of rural southwest England in one full day, but a night over in historic Bath or Cirencester will let you really savour the area. Old mill towns like Lacock, Castlecombe and Bibury are gorgeous picturesque Costwold villages lost in time. You can stoll past 500 year-old cottages, sample tea & scones in a quaint bakery, or watch the swans bathe in the river in Bourton-on-the-Water.
A rental car is the ideal way to visit the Cotswolds, and driving time from London is about 2.5 hrs.
