We were married on the Beach in front of the Hanalei Colony Resort. Our entire wedding party stayed there. This Kauai wedding location is very remote and you can walk for miles undisturbed on the sand. Shell collecting became an obsession. Snorkeling was phenomenal and so were the sunsets.
Our favorite guidebook was the Kauai Trailblazer which we gave as gifts to all our immediate bridal party. "Postcards" was the best restaurant. Surf lessons on Hanalei Bay was the highlight.

The Hanalei Colony Resort sounds like a great Kauai wedding location. We love the North Coast of Kauai – the mountains and beaches are spectacular. One of the big attractions about Kauai is the lack of commercial development, especially when compared to Oahu and Maui.
Overall, a fine choice for your wedding day and honeymoon.
