Rottnest Island - Maureen Says: Our daytrip to Rottnest Island was a great getaway! We got to pet the Quokkas, these cute little furry marsupials similar to a tiny kangaroo. And the beaches were perfect for swimming. Good thing, because it reached 38 C that day!

Fremantle – We consider “Freo” a great place in Perth for an enjoyable afternoon. You can take a tram tour, browse the weekend markets, try out the java on South Terrace's "Cappuccino Strip", or enjoy dinner in one of the area's many good restaurants.
