I am getting married in May and I need more info about honeymoon packages for Key West Florida.
T.H., USA

Key West is a nice choice for a Florida honeymoon vacation. It's very laid back, and feels more like the Caribbean than continental USA.

We list several romantic Key west resorts in our section on Honeymoons in Key West Florida , so be sure to have a look there. Another luxury oceanfront resort in Key West worth looking into is the Casa Marina . It's situated on a private beach, with a full range of activities, spa services and dining. Check their site for a Key West romance package that would be great for honeymoons.

Do you have any recommendations on a nice place to stay in Naples directly on the beach, but close to shopping and restaurants?
L.S., USA

The Inn on Fifth isn't water front, but it is an attractive boutique hotel in Naples. Another couple that contacted our site once a while back had a very good experience at the Laplaya Resort (they loved the beach and the restaurant there). It's beachfront, but pricey (If I remember correct I think they got it on a travel auction bid for quite a bit less).

Do you know of a honeymoon resort in Florida close to the beach and good restaurants, but secluded enough for privacy? We're getting married in April and want a quiet honeymoon somewhere on the Florida coast.
F.A., USA

Here's a couple of resorts on the Gulf Coast you might want to consider for your romantic Florida travel:

- Waterside Inn on The Beach. You could have a reasonably affordable honeymoon in Florida here, vacation rental style beachfront cottages situated in a location perfect for watching the sunset on the gulf of Mexico. They have a honeymoon cottage which is outfitted with a whirlpool hot tub.

- A fine romantic oceanfront resort in Fort Myers is the Sanibel Resort . This 85 acre tropical playground boasts numerous pools and restaurants, and is also one of the top spa resorts in Florida.

My boyfriend and I would like to visit Clearwater Beach, but neither of us have been there. We are looking for a mid priced resort directly on the beach. We prefer a quieter atmosphere just to hang out and walk the beach and be able to get in the car and be in the middle of town in no time. Do you have any suggestions? L.S., USA

Although Florida is cheaper than some other romantic destinations, we're increasingly finding that you get what you pay for. I would tend to go a little more upmarket in order to get a quality place. The Sheraton Sand Key Resort is a hotel we've heard some good reports on, and the ocean is about a 2 minute walk from the pool.

I can't be sure you'll get the quiet you seek as we found St. Pete's and Clearwater quite popular with families and party people (we like it further down the coast around Naples).
