Talk about a view! One of the most romantic restaurants in Brooklyn, New York. Winner of the Time Out New York Readers Choice Award for most romantic restaurant. The lights of lower Manhattan will twinkle in your wine glass in this great location just below the Brooklyn Bridge at 1 Water St, Brooklyn. 718-522-5200 for reservations, and a jacket is required for men.


Candela Restaurant

Locanda Vini & Olii
A fabulously restored drug store! Delicious Tuscan dishes in a quiet part of the Clinton Hill neighborhood. Reasonably priced, warm atmosphere and nice wine list. 129 Gates Ave Brooklyn, NY 11238 (718) 622-9202


Katz’s Delicatessen
Just soak up the atmosphere in this great New York eatery! You might recognize the inside from “When Harry Met Sally”. Enjoy a lunch of corned beef and pastrami on rye with a pickle. 205 E. Houston St. 212-254-2246


Soup Kitchen International
Pretend your Jerry and Elaine ordering soup here on Seinfeld! Closed during the summer, but well worth seeking out at other times for the crab bisque and mulligatawny soups. And just like on the show,line-ups are common. 259a W55th St. (at 8th ave)

Fine Dining in New York just too expensive? Here’s a low-cost alternative! And romantic too. They’re scattered throughout streetcorners in Manhattan, and just like you always saw on TV and in the movies!
