A Guide to Seattle Romantic Restaurants

Our Picks for Seattle Romantic Restaurants – Seafood, Steaks, and Some Great Late Night Coffee Shops!

Seafood, quaint neighborhood eateries, views of the water, and of course, coffee! That’s romantic Seattle dining!

Seattle and the Pacific Northwest are becoming known for some great food. Thai and Indian flavorings are finding their way into traditional seafood dishes.

Here’s a list of our picks for Seattle romantic restaurants - great places to escape those Seattle showers and enjoy a romantic dinner for two. Or even just a cappuccino and some conversation in a great little café...

Matt’s in the Market

Anytime you read about Seattle romantic restaurants, you'll see Matt's. A quaint little romantic seafood restaurant tucked away in the corner of Pike Place Market. Handy location if you’re at the market or by the water during the day. Limited space so book ahead. Equally romantic Sheas, a lounge and bistro next door, has cocktails, jazz and dining too. 94 Pike St, Suite 32, Seattle, WA (206)-467-7909.

Daniel’s Broiler

Great place for a “steak-on-the-lake”. Romantic too, in a old converted boathouse perched on the edge of Lake Washington with views of Mt. Ranier. Renown for it’s USDA prime beef. Outside waterfront dining in the summer. 200 Lake Washington Blvd, Seattle, WA (206) 329-4191.

Serafina

Lots of Seattle restaurant reviews rate Serafina as one of the best Seattle restaurants. Italian, very romantic, live jazz, wonderful pasta and desert - that sums up this charming, rustic Eastlake restaurant & bar. Great for first dates, anniversaries, proposals, and all sorts of romantic evenings. 2043 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle, WA (206)-323-0807.

“Pan Asian” Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese entrees flavored and garnished to perfection. Nominated several times as one of the best restaurants in Seattle. Lantern–lit décor is subdued and quiet. Don’t miss the crispy duck! Wild Ginger Seattle: 1400 Western Ave. (206) 623-4450.

Salish Lodge & Spa

A very romantic Seattle getaway for an evening! The Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls features a classic Pacific Northwest dining room centered around a 1907 fireplace. Sip wine and sample award winning regional cuisine while enjoying the views of the 300 ft falls and canyon below. 30 miles east of Seattle at 6501 Railroad Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA. (425) 888-2556 or toll-free 1-800-2- SALISH.

Space Needle Restaurant

360-degree views of Seattle, a Sunday brunch and free admission to the observation deck make the 500 ft. elevator ride up worthwhile. 400 Broad St, Seattle, WA (206) 905-2100.

Kingfish Café

Just had to mention this one as it’s a local favorite for Seattle soul food restaurants, and a fun place for a casual dinner for two. The Kingfish Café Seattle serves up delicious southern cooking in a down home atmosphere. Crab cakes, sweet potato pie and catfish are what’s cookin’ here… 602 19th Ave, Seattle, WA (206) 320-8757.

Romantic Seattle Coffee Shops & Cafes

Looking for some late-night conversation and caffeine? If you’re in Seattle, you have to try some local coffee! Here’s two downtown Seattle coffee shops worth finding:
