• Silver Cloud Inn Mukilteo - For a romantic anniversary stay in a waterfront hot tub suite, Maureen and I agree that this Silver Cloud hotel is simply one of the very best we have ever seen. It's only a 40 minute drive NW of downtown Seattle, and the King JACUZZI® Tub Oceanfront Suite we booked into (Room #221) included a cozy fireplace beside the ocean view two-person jetted tub, and chromotherapy lighting underneath the bubbles that really sets the mood. Complimentary hot breakfast downstairs by the fireplace overlooking Puget Sound was the perfect finishing touch. Pros: Walk-in rain shower for two, high-end bath products, robes, ocean view tubs. • Kimberly Hotel - We absolutely adored Room 23B in this Midtown Manhattan hotel, home to one of the most luxurious JACUZZI® Tub suites anywhere in NYC. The suite’s size is impressive, especially by NYC standards, and soaking in that deep spa tub while gazing out at the city lights was a truly special feeling. Cocktails and a charcuterie plate on the rooftop lounge added to the experience! Pros: Deep tub with strong jets, huge walk-in rain shower for 2. Cons: Might need to save up for a couple nights here. • Argonaut Hotel - Anniversary evenings don’t get much better than the Bay-View One Bedroom Suite at this San Francisco boutique hotel, where the two-person jetted tub is one of the deepest we've ever seen. The Fisherman’s Wharf location means there's lots to see, do and eat. Pros: Spacious room, late checkout, free morning coffee. Cons: Valet-only parking, some street noise on Hyde St. ERV Rating*: 90 % – Excellent. √ERV Clean Score: A. Tub Size: 2 Persons. • Hallmark Resort & Spa – Few places capture romance like the Oregon Coast. We were here at the Hallmark Resort for two nights in an Oceanfront King Spa Room (Room #222), and have plans to return for our anniversary. Talk about amenities: 2-person jetted tub with padded headrests, double-headed walk-in shower, fireplace, robes, and private balcony with a view of the Pacific and Haystack Rock. Unforgettable! Pros: Just steps from the beach, easy parking, warm cookies at check-in. Cons: No breakfast service. ERV Rating*: 94 % – Excellent. √ERV Clean Score: A. • Marriott Grand Residence Club Lake Tahoe CA - If you love crisp mountain air and cozy fireplaces, this Marriott resort is an anniversary dream. Our whirlpool-tub suite felt like a private alpine retreat, complete with kitchen, fireplace, and quick access to Heavenly Village for dinner and shopping. And the lake shore is only a 12 minute walk away. ERV Rating*: 84 % – Very Good. √ERV Clean Score: A. • Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort - Put a little ocean breeze in your anniversary getaway at this luxury Hilton high-rise. Atlantic views were spectacular from our One Bedroom King Suite #1817. If morning coffee on the balcony, an afternoon swim, and a romantic dinner just steps from the lobby sound good, this romantic Fort Lauderdale resort could be the one. Pros: Full kitchen, beautiful pool. Cons: Valet-only parking, not a cheap stay. ERV Rating*: 86 % – Very Good √ERV Clean Score: B. Tub Size: 1–2 Persons. • Sheraton Desert Oasis Villas - Sun-soaked Arizona anniversary trips with a bubbly tub in these Sheraton villas are hard to beat. We were here for our 28th anniversary, and the one-bedroom suite was beautiful, with a corner whirlpool tub right off the bedroom. Happy to report too that the adult pool here was a kid-free oasis of calm, and the waterfall and palm trees made it feel just like a private desert spa. • Best Western Plus Houston Atascocita Inn & Suites - We spent an night in Room 108 of this Best Western Plus and would rate it excellent value for a romantic getaway without having to be in downtown Houston. Clean & quiet hotel suite with a terrific 2-person spa tub, free breakfast and parking, all proof that you don’t need luxury-hotel prices for a your special anniversary escape. Pros: Outdoor pool, generous breakfast.
