• Best Western Cowichan Valley Inn - We checked into Room 302 here at this Best Western in Duncan BC recently, and were quite impressed with the quality of the jetted JACUZZI® Tub and the updated and spacious living space. The tub was large and easily fit 2 persons, and there's a free breakfast on the morning. In our opinion this Best Western is an obvious choice for a budget-friendly spa tub getaway in Southern Vancouver Island, making it ideal for a romantic retreat in the Cowichan Valley. Pros: Huge tub, jets worked great, room included large sofa and living area, good value for the money. Cons: Restaurants within walking distance limited to fast food. Reviews from Couples: “Tub was a highlight!”…”Great for the price”…”Super comfy stay.” ERV Rating*: 86% - Very Good. √ERV Clean Score: A. We we're fortunate enough to be able to book a night in the top-floor Premium Suite, where the JACUZZI® Tub overlooks Nanaimo Harbor. What a dreamy setup for Vancouver Island honeymooners! You can find cheaper jetted tub suites in Nanaimo, but none come close to matching the romance and luxury here. Pros: Deep tub with great harbor views...luxurious feel, central spot...ferries to local islands close by...walk to nearby restaurants. Cons: Not cheap…Parking fees (but they are a reasonable $9 for 24 hrs). Reviews from Couples: “Honeymoon perfection!”…”Tub was huge, view was unreal”…”Top-tier service.” ERV Rating*: 86% - Very Good.
