Hocking Hills – southeast of Columbus, this rather scenic area is a great place to find a cabin or B & B tucked away among the rolling hills and rocky gorges (they call this the “Hot Tub capital of the Midwest”!) The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway is one of the best scenic train rides in Ohio. The journey through the beautiful hills of southeast Ohio is especially beautiful during spring and fall.
