Seasoned romantic travellers all agree: A Waterfall is one of the most romantic places to experience on a getaway, anniversary trip or honeymoon. 

So, here's our guide to romantic hotels, inns and cabins near waterfalls, with the focus here on just the USA and Canada. Of course we include Niagara Falls, but there are many other romantic (and far less crowded!) waterfall destinations with hotels close by worthy of your consideration. Enjoy!

All distances are approximate. The hotels listed vary in distance to the closest waterfall (some within walking distance, others a short drive away). While they may not always be the closest accommodation to the falls, we feel that they’re a good balance of romantic accommodation and location near a beautiful waterfall.
