Maureen and I just love Naples, and decided we were overdue for a spa tub getaway in this lovely spot on Florida’s Gulf Coast. We’ve got an in-depth look at a very nice DoubleTree hotel you’re going to love, including photos (and soon video) we took during our 3-night stay there.

• DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Naples - This Hilton hotel is top-rated in Naples for some very good reasons: on-site lounge & dining room, a beautiful pool and hot tub with lots of loungers, and free parking galore. We spent 3 nights here in Room #300, a King 1 Bedroom Suite with Whirlpool, which as you can see in the video and photos is freshly updated. It includes wall-mounted HDTV’s, mini fridge, and a spacious and well-lit master bath with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Pros: Separate living area, very friendly staff, free welcome cookies. Cons: No in-room microwave (although one is available for use downstairs near the front desk.) ERV Rating*: 92% - Excellent. Whirlpool Tub Size: 1 Person. Neighborhood Attractions and Restaurants: Located on the beautiful Cocohatchee Creek Nature Preserve and a 5-minute drive from the beach. • Naples Grande Beach Resort - Go for the best on your honeymoon or anniversary in Naples with this romantic beach resort. When it comes time to choose your room, we think the King Room with Signature Gulf View is the one, with it's deep soaker tub and walk-in shower. Pros: Only 1.5 miles from waterfront cafes and dining at The Village Shops at Venetian Bay. Cons: Beach is a bit of a distance from the rooms, although there's free golf cart rides to get you there. ERV Rating*: 80% - Very Good. Soaker Tub Size: 1-2 Persons. Neighborhood Attractions and Restaurants: 10 minutes' walk from the high-end Waterside Shops mall, and 4 miles from Naples Zoo.
